When You're Going Through Hell...Go Fast & Keep Moving
I was inspired to do this work after months of observing the Family Law lines at our county courthouse. The "first come, first serve" sign-in sheet and the many people waiting several hours to ask the Family Law Facilitator a question that simply summed up, "How do I end this and get on with my life?" Nearly all were uncontested, could not afford an attorney, and/or did not qualify for financial aid.

After some research, I realized how many were still in a legal marriage and yet both persons were living apart (many with others). They didn't want the hassle of a legal process, couldn't grasp the complexities, didn't have the time and/or money. Some would file the necessary documents, but for understandable reasons would not complete the process (unfamiliar with court procedures, incomplete filing, or not able to follow up). The courts do not like it and Judges are never happy with backlogs. This was not good.

With the support, guidance, and assistance from friends, attorneys, and "tolerant" instructors, I set out to accomplish my aim. I registered to be a Server of Process, received my Notary Commission and an eNotary certification, fought hard to achieve my Legal Document Assistant (LDA) registration, swore to uphold an ethical code of standards and became a proud member of both CALDA and NALDP, formed Civil Split into a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and have served all my clients to date successfully.

If I do my job right, I will become useful in serving you and you will be free for more important matters in your life...like moving on.

In my efforts to provide you with excellent service I am constantly meeting with Family Law attorneys, counselors, mediators, facilitators, San Mateo County clerks, and colleagues. I attend Family Law courses, conferences, seminars, and workshops to remain current with the written law, Notary and eNotary laws, LDA and NALDP codes of conduct, and to satisfy all process serving certification requirements.
